ABOUT ME
More than a photographer, I am a visual witness to identity.
For over 20 years, I have dedicated my life and my lens to traversing the thin line that unites—and sometimes divides—Mexico and the United States. My work seeks not merely to capture a face, but to preserve a legacy. From the vast landscapes of Texas to the depths of the mountains in Oaxaca and Jalisco, my mission has been to document the living soul of the traditions that define who we are.
Through long-term documentary projects like Native Nation and Inside Oaxaca, I have had the privilege of living among more than 50 indigenous groups, earning the trust necessary to capture their most intimate and dignified essence. My photography and cinematography aim to challenge stereotypes, showcasing the richness, color, and resilience of cultures that refuse to disappear.
I seek to collaborate with editors and brands that understand that an image is not worth a thousand words, but rather a thousand stories waiting to be told.
